Add NTFS resize tools to OE - bluerpi - 06-06-2013

I'm running OE on my RPi and I want to resize my USB HDD partitions (ext4 and ntfs). As this can take a long time, I don't want to use my main computer as my RPi is less energy hungry. I thought I could do this using parted on the command line (using ssh), but since version 3.0 they remove resizing support because of the code was outdated. They advice to use specific tools.

Thus, for my ext4 partition I can use resize2fs. For ntfs, I want to use ntfsresize (http://www.tuxera.com/community/ntfs-3g-download/). Although ntfs-3g is used for mounting, the ntfsprogs are not installed. My question is: can I add ntfsprogs myself or is it possible for the developers to add this program?
