AirPlay OE 3.1.2 generic doesn't show up. - acpowell - 07-09-2013

So ever since 3.1.1 (possibly earlier but I haven't had time to use it lately) I cannot see the AirPlay server. I have it all enabled in xbmc but I cannot find it with my iPad/iPhone or iTunes in windows 7. I know it worked at some point I just don't know when that was as I have moved recently. All of my devices are on the same network. I am using wifi. I don't have an easy way to test this with Ethernet although if I have to do it for testing purposes I will.

I have read where others have it working over wifi. I am not very Linux Davy but u do know how to use ssh so I can punch in some commands if needed.

Thanks for looking and hopefully helping.

I am highly disapointed that no one has been able to help me so far. I was having some other issues with temps on my graphics card so I changed back to using the OSS version of 3.1.2 and now airplay is working.

You know you can likely get people to help you if you include a debug log Wink
turn on debug logging in settings and execute "paste /var/log/xbmc.log" via ssh (I am not sure about the exact location, but if you enable it there are infos on the top left edge of the screen...
