Error in mount_storage: mount_common: - rhagu - 11-01-2013

Hi

I am running a PXE server with working Memtest and added Openelec, but it only loads the kernel and then I get this error:

Code:
*** Error in mount_storage: mount_common: Could not mount 192.168.0.8:/speicher/Openelec/storage/ ***
This is what my pxe file looks like:
Code:
LABEL Openelec
MENU LABEL Openelec
KERNEL Openelec/KERNEL
APPEND ip=dhcp boot=NFS=192.168.0.8:/tftp/Openelec/ disk=NFS=192.168.0.8:/speicher/Openelec/storage/ overlay
TEXT HELP
Software fuer das Abspielen von Medien
ENDTEXT
I also tried without the last / but no difference

This is what the boot folder looks like:
Code:
root@me-PXE:/tftp/Openelec# ls -la
insgesamt 173476
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 Nov 1 19:45 .
drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4096 Nov 1 19:02 ..
-rwxrwxrwx 1 meadmin meadmin 5968576 Okt 17 16:57 KERNEL
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 273 Nov 1 21:39 Openelec.menu
-rwxrwxrwx 1 meadmin meadmin 171651072 Nov 1 19:45 SYSTEM
This is the storage folder:
Code:
root@me-PXE:/speicher/Openelec# ls -la
insgesamt 173472
drwxr-xr-x 3 nobody nogroup 4096 Nov 1 20:31 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 meadmin meadmin 4096 Nov 1 19:18 ..
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5968576 Nov 1 20:31 KERNEL
drwxrwxrwx 3 nobody nogroup 4096 Nov 1 20:17 storage
-rwxrwxrwx 1 nobody nogroup 171651072 Okt 17 16:57 SYSTEM

edit:
This is /etc/exports
Code:
root@me-PXE:/speicher/Openelec# cat /etc/exports
# /etc/exports: the access control list for filesystems which may be exported
# to NFS clients. See exports(5).
#
# Example for NFSv2 and NFSv3:
# /srv/homes hostname1(rw,sync,no_subtree_check) hostname2(ro,sync,no_subtree_check)
#
# Example for NFSv4:
# /srv/nfs4 gss/krb5i(rw,sync,fsid=0,crossmnt,no_subtree_check)
# /srv/nfs4/homes gss/krb5i(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)
#

/speicher/Openelec 192.168.0.0/24(no_root_squash,rw,async,no_subtree_check)
/tftp/Openelec 192.168.0.0/24(no_root_squash,rw,async,no_subtree_check)

edit2:
Mounting on a different PC works:
Code:
user@user-mobil:/$ sudo mount 192.168.0.8:/tftp/Openelec /mnt
user@user-mobil:/$ cd /mnt
user@user-mobil:/mnt$ ls
KERNEL Openelec.menu SYSTEM

edit3:
In case it makes a difference: I use dnsmasq in proxy mode.

I really have no idea what is going wrong and I am about to go nuts, especially because memtest works.

I would really appreciate any idea

kind regards rhagu

I'm curious if you had this working with an earlier release such as 3.0.6 (?)

Ok, this is a little odd, but out of curiousity I tried the PXE Boot with my htpc and it works!

The problems mentioned above, occures when I try to PXE Boot with a kvm virtual machine (I use it to do most of my testing remotely)

Thanks for your answer but this seems to be a kvm issue, although I dont know how this could have any impact on mounting at all.
Maybe virtio network drivers are missing?

kind regards,
rhagu
