Logitech Harmony Smart Hub + OE 3.2.4 not working - tofalck - 02-07-2014

Please - no Windows specific answers. This is on Linux.

Pairing of the Harmony remote and OE via BT is ok with two different BT dongles.

lsusb yields:

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:0024 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 8087:0024 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 17ef:7205 Lenovo
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 046d:0b02 Logitech, Inc. BT Mini-Receiver (HID proxy mode
)
Bus 002 Device 007: ID 046d:c709 Logitech, Inc. BT Mini-Receiver (HCI mode)
Bus 002 Device 005: ID 046d:c70b Logitech, Inc. BT Mini-Receiver (HID proxy mode
)
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 046d:c70c Logitech, Inc. BT Mini-Receiver (HID proxy mode
)

hciconfig yields:

hci0: Type: BR/EDR Bus: USB
BD Address: 00:07:61:44:72:04 ACL MTU: 1017:7 SCO MTU: 64:1
UP RUNNING PSCAN
RX bytes:2075 acl:24 sco:0 events:109 errors:0
TX bytes:889 acl:12 sco:0 commands:70 errors:0

pressing a key on the remote and doing a hciconfig again yields:

hci0: Type: BR/EDR Bus: USB
BD Address: 00:07:61:44:72:04 ACL MTU: 1017:7 SCO MTU: 64:1
UP RUNNING PSCAN
RX bytes:2117 acl:26 sco:0 events:109 errors:0
TX bytes:889 acl:12 sco:0 commands:70 errors:0

Thus, the two devices are certainly connected but OE does not react to the remote keys.

I have tried rebooting.

I suspect the BT dongle should be set as an input service - can anyone confirm this? And if so, how to do it?
