Raspberry PI HMDI passthrough channels mixed up - repiuk - 02-15-2014

I'm running OPENelec on the Raspberry PI. The Pi is connected to a Samsung 2013 smart tv. The DTS receiver is connected to the TV. All other devices (popcorn, Apple TV, WD TV) play 5.1 sound like expected.
The Pi results in 5.1 channels mixed up. I tried all combination of XMBC sound settings (2.0 - 7.1), DTS and DD capable reciever etc without succes. 5.1 of 7.1 settings result in only rear channels on the TV and receiver (rear is played on front speakers).

To answer my own question.
Samsung TV's don't allow DD or DTS passthrough. Not with a Pi or with any other device. My amp receives only downmixed 2.0 and tries to emulate surround. With XBMC settings of 2.1 and higher a PCM audio stream is send to the TV and amp which doesn't work at all with my amp.
Very confusing...
