Safe to change from Fusion 3.2.4 to Generic 3.2.4? - Hansel - 05-02-2014

So for a good year or two now I've had the same issue where I lose sound when I switch inputs. Often if I turn off the TV for the night, there's no sound the next day when I turn it back on.

I'm pretty much just over it now and want to try something, anything, to fix it (there was a workaround with autostart.sh in v2 but that hasn't worked for ages). Am I safe to just change over to Generic (same version number) with the usual upgrade method?

Am I likely to run into any compatability issues (I have a Zotac AD04)? I mean the sound is already stuffed so I guess that can't get much worse Big Grin

Thanks all

Place the current beta update files in the usual folder and then move /storage/.xbmc to /storage/.xbmc-old and reboot .. if anything fixes and audio problem it will be the mountain of changes to audio handling in Gotham code. If there's a problem you can always revert back by 'updating' and switching .xbmc folders around again.
