I am using zap2xml and trying to have my RPi run it automatically but I am having trouble installing Perl on the Pi. How did you do it?
I downloaded the i686 version of active perl and transferred it over to the Pi. I then opened the command line and tried
./install.sh --prefix /storage/ActivePerl --license-accepted --no-install-html
only to get error code 126 permission denied.

In my case I run zap2xml.pl on a NUC that also hosts tvheadend, with a full unintuitive install so no Perl problems.
