USB drive persistent drive name - langeman - 05-21-2015

Hi all,

I'm running Openelec 5 on a Raspberry Pi Model B. Media is stored on an external USB disk. (externally powered) The USB disk will we powered off once and a while (yeah, I know, it's not a very clean method...) but after powering on quite some time it will be recognized as /dev/sdb rather than /dev/sda.

Now, the content of the libraries cannot be found. After reboot the disk is found as /dev/sda once again and all works fine.

How can I make OpenElec to find the library content despite /dev/sda or /dev/sdb (sdc....) is used?

Make one label on partition and it will be always mounted under same name like /media/your_disk_label_name.
