Please anyone walk me by the hand to get anything bluetooth to run openelec. I have it installed on a asus chromebox. I hae a bluetooth mouse, ps3 control, and firestick remote. Im told all will work. Cant get any. They all connect to my box when booted via chrome os. When I have my wired mouse and keyboard pluged in they work with kodi. Could it be as easy as a dongle? Also in settings under openelec, bluetooth it says disabled but wont let me enable

Hm it should let you enable bluetooth.
Can you try external Bluetooth adapter?

Enable bluetooth under services in the OpenELEC settings add-on

Im kinda learning on the fly so not sure what ya mean, sorry. But no I havent tri3d that, would a wireless mouse/remote work with a usb dongle since my mouse does work wired direct? And do u know why it wont allow me to enable bluetooth? Everything runs great ive had no problems whatsoever

Thats where I go to try and enable bluetooth. Its just says disabled and I cant figure out why I cant enable it

Please post some logs, http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php/OpenELEC_FAQ#How_do_I_generate_support_logs.3F

It's most likely that the firmware isn't loaded for your bluetooth adapter.

Seems like this guy had similar problems and he solved them, see the post: Asus Chromebox announcement

UPDATE:
Ah, seems you have already did it..
Well, also look this: http://kodi.wiki/view/Chromebox#Device_Preparation
I can't tell you much more, sorry - maybe better ask in Chromebox-dedicated forums(like above one).
And yes, you should learn how to supply logs

I got it, I was going straight to the bluetooth setting and not services. Thank you very much. My mouse connected imediately but my remote wont, got any ideas? And dont know how to do much on here. Let me know what to do to help your profile out. All the info u gave me worked.

Openelec - lrusak - 11-19-2015

What kind of remote is it? You may have to put it into some sort of "pairing mode" or "discovery mode"

See here for info about different remotes, http://kodi.wiki/view/Chromebox#Recommended_Accessories_.2F_Hardware_Upgrades

Did you follow PS3 Bluetooth remote paring instructions in the wiki link I gave you?
PS: it may be needed to press/hold START + ENTER on the remote for about ~10 sec before the remote will be visible
