HP DV8T-1200 (x86 Nvidia Legacy - Diskimage) - aachally - 10-10-2016

Hello, I was originally attempting to install the Official 6.03, x86 Generic (Intel/AMD/Nvidia) - Diskimage on my old HP Pavillion Entertainment PC/Laptop (HP DV8T-1200), but it would never boot after installation and I read that this could be due to not having the proper drivers to support the old Nvidia GPU that my laptop contained. So, instead I tried to install the Official 6.03, General x86 Nvidia Legacy - Diskimage on my old HP Pavillion Entertainment PC/Laptop (HP DV8T-1200).

This time, the installation worked wonderfully and fully booted. I watched 1 movie and started installing programs, add-ons, tools, etc. and had no problems. That was until I unplugged my computer and it died. Now, when it boots it checks everything "[OK]" from "A start job is running for Xorg Server"until "Reached target Kodi Mediacenter Interface". Then, it just loops through a bunch of hardware checks until the screen goes blank. This is exactly what was occurring when I previously tried to install the Official 6.03, x86 Generic (Intel/AMD/Nvidia) - Diskimage on my old HP Pavillion Entertainment PC/Laptop (HP DV8T-1200). Any idea what happened and why it's no longer working?

Also, I did already try installing the Openelec OS again, and it still does the same thing. Do I need to repair/update instead this time? I am just confused as to why it would work and then suddenly it wouldn't work anymore just because it lost power. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. I really want to get this working again!

If nobody else can solve this problem, I certainly won't be able to!

Can anyone suggest some next best alternatives for me? Smile
