Gently, shampoo the hair in a downward motion, working shampoo from the top down. This rubbing action and the resultant friction will loosen dirt, product residue, and dandruff which can then be rinsed away. Thoroughly rinse your scalp afterward, still massaging with your fingertips as you do so.

Mid Week Wash
Make sure to shampoo your virgin hair at least once a week. If you lead an active lifestyle, use the excessive product or feel your hair had become dry substitute conditioner for shampoo during your weekly wash. Wash your hair in a downward motion, working conditioner from the top down in one motion.

Condition Brazilian Hair
Conditioning the hair is vital to its maintenance. After you have shampooed and thoroughly rinsed your hair apply a generous amount of conditioner to the hair. Gently comb hair with a wide tooth comb, to assure even coverage. Rinse conditioner from your hair with warm water and gently towel or air dry.

Styling
When styling your Brazilian virgin hair make sure that you are using the right tools for the job. Try to avoid tough bristle brushes to style your hair as this can scratch the hair cuticle. Once the hair cuticle becomes excessively scratched or damaged the hair will start to clump together tangle and matte. So if you want to keep the hair strands smooth and silky, avoid the bristle brush. Great alternatives include a paddle brush with coated tips and wide tooth combs.

Sleeping With Brazilian Weaves
If you have either Brazilian natural wave or straight weaves, be sure to tie these down and use either a silk or satin cap to cover your hair before going to bed at night. Never wrap your hair in any kind of cotton material, as this will only absorb oils from your hair that can make it much less manageable. You also should not use any elastic bands since these can cause various amounts of stress. Always brush your hair prior to going to sleep, and you can even braid your hair as well.

Waking Up With Brazilian Hairstyles
Always brush your hair as regularly as possible in order to prevent tangling. This should be done with either a paddle brush or a wide tooth comb. Begin with the ends of your hair and move towards your scalp, as this will prevent any pressure on the tracks. This will keep the hair from shedding and also increase the lifespan of the weave itself.

RE: How To Take Care Of Brazilian Virgin Hair - Evawigs - 08-07-2019

Many customers are asking how to care their wigs, here we summered up 10 tips that may help you better care and store your  wigs
1. Detangle before washing with a wide teethed comb from hair ends to root. Never comb roughly from the hair root, that will cause shedding.
2. Wash your wig 1 to 3 times a week if you wear it every day or every few wearings as needed. As dirty hair is not manageable and will be tangled which will cause shedding.
3. Never use hot water or cold water when washing. Hot water may loosen the wig construction, and cold water is not good for removing the dirt.
4. Always rinse human hair with the water flowing in the same direction of the hair to avoid matting and tangles.
5. When washing, pay special attention to the area around the face which may accumulate dirt, oil, and makeup.
6. Never twist or rub your wig vigorously while washing or drying.
7. Always use sulfate-free care products formulated for chemically processed hair to wash and style your human hair wigs to keep the hair soft and manageable.
8. To avoid stretching the cap, never place a wet wig on a mannequin or Styrofoam head. A folding wig stands or a tall can of hairspray make the best drying platforms.
9. Have two wigs ready to wear at all times. This way when you are washing one wig, you have a back up which is ready to go. Plus, rotating between wigs also helps to extend the life.
10. If you would like to store your human hair wigs, make sure that your wig is washed and totally dry, and put into the black net when we shipped with your wig. Do not apply any product when your wig is not in use.

Tips for put on a full lace wig.
To put on your wig and ensure that it is fully secure on your head, you will need at least 10 to 15 minutes. There are 6 steps that you need to follow to put on and fully secure a full lace wig.
Firstly, you need to shampoo and deeply condition your natural hair. Now, for the second half of the first step, you have to braid your natural hair in pieces to make sure that they do not come out when you are wearing the wig.
For the second step, you will need to have a black, nude or skin-colored wig cap. You need to place it on top of your natural hair to completely flatten it and to provide a smooth base for your wig. Now, you need to prep for the wig.
Thirdly, you have to apply glue to your hairline. You are required to apply glue in such a way that when you place the wig, it is completely secure. How well your wig is put on and secured highly depends on your application of the glue. Applying glue to your hairline takes approximately 5 minutes. You should not rush through this process as the security of your wig on your head depends on this.
For the next and the fourth step, you have to deal with the combs that are placed on the inside of the wig cap. This step is holding a ton of importance as this will secure the hair underneath. Again, this process should absolutely not be rushed. The combs on the inside of the wig cap will secure the hair that is underneath the wig cap and the combs at the back of the wig cap will ensure that the back of the wig cap is fully secured with your neck.
The fifth step deals with the drying of your hair. This process usually takes about 8 to 10 minutes. It is recommended to tie a bandana around your wig as this will ensure that the wig is absolutely and completely secured as you blow-dry your hair and style it as you wish. This keeps your wig locked and loaded.
The sixth step and also the final one deals with the styling of your full lace wig. How you decide to style it is completely your own choice and the time that is taken varies from style to style. You can choose to straighten your hair, curl it, pin it up and various other styles. Hence, the time taken to put on and completely secure a full lace wig is approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
You can style your wig before you put it and secure it on your head. You can place your wig on top of a mannequin, wash, dry, straighten or curl your hair and style it according to your liking. Your wigs can stay on top of your head with little or no inconveniences for about 7 till 10 days. You might have to reapply the glue in certain areas during this time period, but usually, that is it. You do not have to face any major inconvenience with your full lace wig.
