Hello,
I have a CrystalHD install on my 1st Gen AppleTV, and it's been working fine with my 1080p files. However, since upgrading to v3.2.1, I've noticed VERY choppy performance, almost as if the CrystalHD isn't operating properly. I know that when opening a 1080p file it may take 20 - 30 seconds for things to display fluidly, but even after 3 minutes, things are not running properly, the audio sometimes plays all the time, the video is static.
I've ssh'd in and run the following commands (this is with a cold boot and no media playing) and here are the results, which I think means the card is installed and detected
OpenELEC:~ # lspci | grep Crystal
02:00.0 Multimedia controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM70015 Video Decoder [Crystal HD]
OpenELEC:~ # dmesg | grep -i crystal
[ 3.303662] Loading crystalhd v3.10.0
[ 3.303697] crystalhd 0000:02:00.0: Starting Device:0x1615
[ 3.303712] crystalhd 0000:02:00.0: enabling device (0000 -> 0002)
[ 3.330048] crystalhd 0000:02:00.0: irq 43 for MSI/MSI-X
[ 14.486338] crystalhd 0000:02:00.0: Opening new user[0] handle
[ 15.336336] crystalhd 0000:02:00.0: Closing user[0] handle via ioctl with mode 417a00
Does that look ok? Can someone provide me with what the next steps would be in trying to debug this problem?
