Hello,
I had to change the hard disk where TV recordings are stored. The old disk is not defective, I just attached a bigger disk. Since I did not want to loose any recordings I copied all media files (/recordings) to the new disk. Access permissions and modification times are preserved.
In the menu "Live TV --> Recordings" are no recordings listed any more. If I open the subdir where the video files resides, they are all available, playback from there is working. The logs containing the metadata (stored from the EPG) are in userdata/addon_data/service.multimedia.tvheadend//dvr/log as they should be. If I navigate to the path listed in one of these log files I do find the video file. New recordings are displayed as usual, including description.
Why are they not listed in XBMC GUI or the web interface of tvheadend? The list is empty. There must be a way to reconnect video files with matching log files. How can that be done?
OpenElec 3.04 if that matters (old, I know).
Thank you in advance for your help.
