I'm planning a new OpenELEC Installation and i'm new to OpenELEC.
My current situation is the following:
I have a NAS (ReadyNAS Duo) running 24/7. It is connected to a WLAN Router. In my living room there is a HTPC (Currently running a full Ubuntu with XBMC). The HTPC has a 1TB HDD which synchronises alle the media data from the NAS (via unison). The HTPC is also connected to an other WLAN router, which is a repeater for the first WLAN router. And this is, why i duplicate the whole media data. I wanted to avoid access from HTPC over a slow and perhaps not very stable WLAN connection (many WLANs around me).
If i would now install OpenELEC onto the HTPC, how would i achive the same thing? Is there an addon or something similar to synch the data or do you think it is not necessary to synch? Do you distribute your data too and if so, how do you manage such data distribution?
Edit:
the data is about 10 GB video files, 30-40 GB photos an about 100 GB music.
