My netbook has an AMD Sempron 210U cpu built in and an ATT X1250 onboard gpu. The low power system has better graphic abilities than an atom cpu and decodes HD video (720p) under Windows. I'd like to use it as media player with my TV.
AFAIK the cpu is not capable of CPU Scaling or Cool'N'Quiet. The OPENELEC boot procedure stops after about one second with following error message:
A Google search gave me hints that the error is not OPENELEC-specific and could be related not only with uncomplete BIOSes or kernel hardware incompatibiliy, but with graphic driver problems.
Is there a workaround or an OPENELEC version for the specific AMD cpu platform? Thanks.
