Yeah - but of course, I just tried plugging my Sony TV into my ShuttleXS35 and doing it all locally - and that took 5 mins and probably, if anything, works better!
Drivers are there out of the box, and it just works, no hassle. Streams nicely over ethernet to our other client (ASRock Ion 330). So really there doesn't seem much benefit having this run on my main server since my shuttle is on 24/7 anyway... Still need to try recording back to the server etc. but the out of the box experience is simple and effective, as always with OE. (Has to be said though, with the latest PVR builds from here and Pulse8, there is still some increase in jitter over RC1! Oh well!)

Hehe. But it is being worked on, and i have put you in contact with the devs so you can follow it first hand. But he is juggling several projects, and right now xvba is being worked on.

Yep I am sure there will be a solution in the end. There's a LOT more ION hardware out there than Fusion at this point, so hopefully that will keep people motivated to work on it. I know some C but this is way, way out of my league!
Anyway, I think I am going to move my clients to pre-eden soon because I live the inbuilt TV support so much, and I just want to bit the bullet and move to an Eden database version....once I've done that, there's no going back!!

Saw this post in on the XBMCFreak forums. Not sure if it's helpful at all but thought you might be interested. Apparently the user had made this change to the newly released Pre-Eden XBMCFreak with positive results.
