The same problem has already happened twice to me. Why does this happen and how can i fix that? I have access to telnet and scp.

OpenELEC removes /storage/.config/.xbmc/temp on every boot, because this tempfolder is known to hold much old cruft which is never used anymore (and can be very big over the time - i have heard from 16GB big xbmc.old.log files :-))
it seems for any reason some folders cant be removed, this can be a bad hdd/ssd/usb drive or other problems. you can check via ssh if you can remove this folders manually - if not check the permissions of this folder (also which filesystem you use on /storage???). What i can do is try to hide this messages on boot, but its no solution because there is anything wrong with some files/folders in this temp dir
Well i have now formated the partition to ext3. Of course all the data has been lost.
I'll see if the problem will still be present.
Well i think that there is not much i could do wrong. Is it possible that this is bug because of FAT32 partiton?
Before this error i was able to edit files on STORAGE partition but after that error it said that i do not have permissions and it is readonly system (root; openelec).
I hope it will be fixed in the future. I'm using OpeneELEC on usb stick.
Hi! Well i was using FAT32 partition. So i assume that this was a problem. I could not save the problem but have formatted the partition with gparted live linux distro and change it to ext3.
O course a have to config everything from begining (well i was having backups of configs so not too much work )
From this day i do not have seen the problem again. But of from there there were already two updates of OpenELEC.
But i will not use fat32 again.
