Just recieved the Foxconn nT-1500 system with the Atom processor. Also being that it has a Intel Video adapter I downloaded the Intel x86 Beta 3 code for OpenELEC. Created my boot USB drive and boot the Foxconn from it. My target is a 32GB SSD that is installed in the system. Installation goes without an issue. The install process sees the ssd and writes to it. But when I re-boot, after removing my bootable USB drive, I get the following error,
ERROR: No Boot Disk has been detected or the disk has failed.
I know the SSD is good and OK basically because I can perform the install again and it completes no poroblem.
Some more information. Re-booted again and went into the BIOS. After the install of OpenELEC the system does not see the SSD. Nothing listed under Hard drives on the box. I know it was there when I started becasue I had to make sure the USB was booted first and I saw the SSD.
Pulled the SSD out and hooked it up to my Windows machine. When I go into Disk Management the Disk comes up un-initilized as it it were a new drive. Then it comes up with the device is not ready error. Like the install just bricked my SSD and made it totally unusable.
If I use Diskpart from a command prompt it sees the disk but it is reporting 0 bytes in size and 0 bytes free.
Anyone have any ideas on this one?
Thanks....
