Is there any place where I can download nightly builds of XBMC for my atv1?
Really want to start testing Frodo.

not at the moment, but self-building is fairly simple and the ATV image appears to be stable under frodo

Anyone what to share some tips on how to do the self builds for ATV1?

I guess that since already running Linux on ATV1, the build process could be done from console on that box as well?

Links are highly appreciated at the moment :-) Really want to test out the Frodo builds.

It's not possible to build from OpenELEC, there are no compiler tools in the OS and sub-zero chance of that ever changing. The wiki has several sets of instructions for self-building OpenELEC.
