RaspberryPI with Netgear USB WPN111 Firmware missing

HI All

I am currently trying to get the Netgear WPN111 Usb Dongle to work.
All setting in the OpeneLec addon is corret with SSID, pass Wlan0 and so on.

The wifi dongle is detected on bootup:

But from what i can see it that it is missing the firmware

I have got the Winxp inf,sys and bin file for this wifi dongle that i read that should work with this.

So here is my question!

Where and how do i add this to the RaspberryPI?

I doubt the lsusb "no firmware" message literally means what it says. More likely it indicates something about the hardware to the Netgear developers. The chipset in the card is an Atheros AR5523. OE does not support ndiswrapper (and that's not likely to change) so you cannot use the Windows drivers. There is an experimental Linux kernel driver available here: http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/fullstory/ar5523/ but it would need to be added as a package, e.g. included as part of the OE distro - it's not something you can add yourself unless you're building your own custom OE distro. You can make a driver request for this via the issue tracker on github, but I wouldn't be too optimistic about an experimental driver being added. We need to support anything we include so adding something half-baked isn't always a good idea. Make the ticket anyway though..

After reboot it still shows:

not sure if it has anything to do with this but it does not like my iwconfig.

-sh: iwconfig: command not found

lsmod shows nothing..

in case the previous post wasn't clear.. there is no driver for the AR5523 chipset in the OpenELEC distro so this card will not work until one is added

Just to anyone who want to know is that I ended up with getting one of this bad boys.
Edimax EW-7811UN Wireless 802.11b/g/n 150Mbps Nano USB Adaptor
Best part with it, is that it do not need to be on a powered usb hub, lust plug in and conf and it works.
