Openelec + HDHomerun Prime = Help!

Hello all,
I have openelec and a new HDHomerun Prime. I set everything up in openelec as far as I know. Have tvheadend addon + TVHeadend Client + HDhomerun add on enabled.
I have picked my frequencies in the TVHeadend config and scanned 157 Muxes. Once I scanned and hit the map button nothing seemed to work.

I do not see any channels in the live TV......What am I missing? Is there a different PVR Client I can use other than TVHeadend that works better?

ANY HELP would be appreciated.

Easy answer is to swap out TVheadend and use mythTV for the PVR back end as it has much better support for the Prime.

There is some initial work getting the prime going in TVheadend but I don't believe it works in all cases yet.

I have this issue as well. The problem seems to be that the 'Service Name' of all scanned channels is blank. I've set this up with Raspbmc as well as Crystalbuntu and didn't have this problem. I'm wondering if it has to do with this bug involving version 3.3 of TVheadend:

I'm running OpenElec 2.0 (current stable) which is installing TVheadend version 3.3.403~g8754b14 . I don't believe my Raspbmc and Crystalbuntu installs were running TVheadend version 3.3 (don't have the version numbers handy), so I'm wondering if there could be an issue with this version of TVheadend.

It has nothing to do with Openelec. The issue is how the dvb drivers handle the encrypted channels from the Prime. You need to create a custom location file that is created by doing a mux scan, and use the patched hdhomerun dvb driver on sourceforge. You have build the driver from source btw. It's all documented on the lonelycoder forum. I went this route, but it is such a pita. I just stuck with Myth. Using Mythbuntu setup is simple.

Also, if your cable provider doesn't provide unique PID's it won't work anyway. By the time you get done messy with all that you could've had a MythTv backend set up and watching tv
