Reassign /storage folder from SSD to HDD

Hi,

I installed OpenElec on my 128 GB SSD. I've also got a 1 TB HDD.
Unfortunately, the /storage folder is located on the SSD.
How can I reassign the /storage folder from SSD to HDD? :dry:
I need to do this because I want to organise my media (saved on my HDD) into the various subfolders ( music, videos...) of /storage.
So, in the end if I click on e.g. Videos in XBMC it should show me my videos on my HDD.

kernel boot parameters in /flash/extlinux.conf define where the kernel will look for the "boot" files (KERNEL and SYSTEM) and then the "disk" where we store user data. The default conf file uses disk=LABEL=Storage format so it's simple to switch disks simply by using the parted 'name' command to switch the disk label (name) of the storage partition from the SSD to the HDD.

Assuming /dev/sda is the SSD and /dev/sdb is the HDD, and the HDD is already ext4 formatted as a single partition and is labelled as HDD:

cp -aR /storage /var/media/HDD <= it will be mounted using the label name
parted -s /dev/sdb name 1 'Storage'
parted -s /dev/sda name 2 'Spare'
reboot

That should clone the contents of the current storage partition to the new one, and we move the 'Storage' label to the new drive then reboot.
