tvheadend reports no input detected

OK so im still struggling with tvheadend (long standing issue for me), basically its all setup and works from a cold boot, signal strength is fine, i can change channel and record channels, all looking good, then after approx 24 hours i get the dreaded "no input detected" message in xbmc and thats it, i cant then record or view any tv channels. if i then reboot the unit then tv springs into life and i can then view and record (for another 24 hours) details on what i have:-

os:- openelec ion 64bit 3.0.1
tvheandend:- official build from openelec repository
tuner:- kworld Dual Tuner DVB-T Digital TV USB Stick - http://www.maplin.co.uk/dual-tuner-dvb-t...ick-221708
unit:- Zotac ZBOX-ID41-B

so does anybody have a fix for this?, i have read a fair bit about this and im not alone, there is talk about the wrong "firmware" but not sure exactly where to go to get this updated, all i know is the chip in my usb tuner is supposed to be supported by the linux kernel so in theory i guess there shouldn't be any driver issues, yes?.

i desp want to give MCE a swift kick in the knackers but until i can consistently record there is no chance of this :S

i can attach logs if required, so please let me know.

the old versions OpenElec had this problem but the latest version (3.0.1) is no longer
Can properly configured in options :LiveTV / power saving (disable / enable)?
I do not use the latest version of Tvheadend only this: Tvheadend
And can help the entry : options usbcore autosuspend=0
storage/.config/modprobe.d/options.conf
but does it help ?

ok great, i will definitely check my power saving options, they will be set to defaults as i def haven't touched them since a clean install of 3.0.0. im assuming you want me to try and set power saving to "disable" yes?.

i will also set the autosuspend value in the conf file, i will let you know how i get on.

I'm afraid the problem persists even after applying both suggestions. Anybody else got anything I can try?

Good to know I'm not on my own :-) have tried bios update to see if this fixes the issue, it hasn't so far, need to try moving the usb adapter to the usb 2.0 slot as it's currently in a usb 3.0 slot, just trying to rule out the issue being hardware related.

I m new here but I get same issue that you but with only tvheadend and TBS6984 (PCI express card DVBS2). My client is XBMC in separate HTPC.

I tried remove "autodetect muxes" and activate "skip initial scan" and for 2 full days no prob yet... I will check also tomorrow.

ok good news!, for me this looks to be fixed (2 days and still working), i fixed the issue by firstly doing a bios update, i then switched my usb dvb-t dual tuner to a usb 2.0 slot as opposed to a usb 3.0 slot (required re-config of tvheadend) and it now looks stable :-).
