Gigabyte - GA C847N-D board - no HDMI video/audio

So, it was recommended that i install OpenElec intelx86 64 version on this
i can get it installed no problem but........
you knew there would be a butt , didn't you.

Ok, so the only video i can get is VGA
system settings does not allow me option to change video to HDMI
go to audio and shows no audio installed

anyone have any ideas how i can continue
I don't want to run windows on this t hing and then xbmc
i would like to just have openelec/xbmc or xmbcbuntu

i've got mobo couldnt output to hdmi, but need to change the jumper to do the trick, have you check the manual?

its not a jumper
HDMI does work
i was initially doing the install just from regular monitor
i just now thought i would try and install from HDMI on another monitor and it seems to be working
just going to wait for install and hook it up to TV /Stereo system and see if it works

Ok, so still no luck

i can get HDMI working on tv at 1920 x 1080
but, still get no output audio
when i connect it directly to TV or to my stereo system
get NO sound

Well, i don't think i will be able to obtain any sound with this motherboard on OpenElec
going to try Linux and XMBC installation this time around
if that fails, i'll have to go the windows / xbmc router (DOH !! )
