How straightforward is it to setup HD Homerun?

I'm thinking of switching from my cable box to a card and the Homerun Prime. Is it pretty straightforward these days to work with? Stable? Is the EPG easy to setup?

I want this thing to be near-bulletproof. Thanks!

No, I would not say it is straightforward. I have not found a guide that is current and has everything you need from start to finish. I'm still trying to get mine setup properly after having it a few months. Though my issues seem to stem from tvheadend, not HD Homerun.

I've set up an HDHR dual using TVheadend, and even though i am usually pretty good with this kind of stuff, it was a bit of a frustrating exercise. I am sure there was an easier way. It seems to be one of those things you have to mess with a while before you really understand it.

With that said, if you want to use cable card to watch copy protected content, then OpenELEC is not an option anyhow, you'll need Windows and WMC.
