Hi everyone,
I'm posting here because I'm experiencing some sound issues with my XBMC powered mediacenter. I got a lot of crackled noise on several of my music files and on almost every video files.
Note: I'm not using HDMI for audio playback, I plugged a USB Surround Sound Card to a 5.1 sound system. (And yeah I also tried to switch with another sound system x_x).
I've searched for a solution on several forums but I haven't been able to solve this. I've tried the following configurations so far:
Running XBMC on the following platforms
Changing the Audio Output settings in various ways
I've tried almost every combination of those settings, I also tried to use the HDMI output but the issue still remains.
I also tried to set the downmix level options to the minimum but no change.
To finish, you'll find below some extra informations about my system:
Here is the output of lspci -k:
http://pastebin.com/PdbN6q5x
And here is the output of aplay -L:
http://pastebin.com/WZEyWVFQ
If anyone could have a hint about this issue, I would greatly appreciate it since having a bad sound on a Media Center is a real pain and I don't know what to do next :/
