I am planning to purchase some mini HTPC to install openelec to run XBMC for streaming 720p videos.

I need to know which of the following hardware are supported

X-24x Atom D2500 Dual -core 1.86Ghz with Intel GMA 3600 512M, 2GB Ram with 16G SSD
X-26 Celeron C1037U Dual-core 1.8GHz with Intel R HD 512M, 2GB Ram with 16G SSD

The GMA3600/3650 device is not supported. The Linux driver for this GPU is 32-bit only and terrible so we don't include it in any of our builds. The GPU in the second box (HD-something, but what number?) is unknown so we cannot comment on it.

I've been running OE until recently on an Intel NUC Celeron and it ran flawlessly.

The Celeron 847 in the NUC is a dual core CPU clocked at 1.1 GHz running Intel's HD2000 GPU.
The Celeron 1037U in the device mentioned is a dual core CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz with Intel's HD2500 GPU.

The 1037U is a faster CPU with a faster GPU than the 847 so should run OpenELEC just fine.
