Upgrading my 3 year old HTPC - will this work?

Hi there!

As the title says, I want to upgrade my 3 year old HTPC to something with a little bit more punch and especially with less hunger for electricity. The current build looks like this

CPU: Intel Celeron Dual-Core E3400
GPU: GeForce GT 430
PSU: Antec EarthWatts 380W
RAM: Kingston 4GB DDR3-1066

The planned build looks like this

CPU/GPU: Intel Core i3-4130T
PSU: Pico-PSU-90
RAM: Kingston 8GB DDR3-1600

So what I'm wondering right now is - will this work? I've seen a lot of threads about problems with Haswell & OpenELEC and I'd rather not buy something that doesn't work.

It should work for sure. But you should use a nightly Gotham build.

NB: unless you plan to dual-boot with Windows more than 1GB RAM is not required .. perhaps 2GB at the most, OE currently runs in less than 512MB.
