[request] steamos xpad driver included in openelec

Is there any chance the steamos xpad driver could be included in the openelec kernel? There is a file at https://launchpad.net/~mdeslaur/+archive/steamos which I managed to get working on fedora via dkms, it stops the blinking lights issue on wireless Xbox 360 gamepads and possibly fixes for dead zone of joysticks, though that part could be because of steam big picture. Thanks.

I would also love to see this. I managed to get it working in XBMCbuntu but I like OpenELEC more.
