WD Data Lifeguard has found no problems (extended test).
I tried another tool (Hard disk sentinel) and it also found no error on the drive (surface test - read)

I always made the test within the external enclosure, because my pc is too old for 3tb harddisks. But that should be no difference i think.

What could be the problem with OE? :blink:

When I connect the 4bay drive to linux mint everything is fine. I can see and use both hds from the enclosure Huh

I now tested every hdd for itself. There is no problem. No broken sectors.
I only get the error messages if I insert both drives at the same time :blink: Very confusing. Am I the only one with this problem. My enclosure gets correctly detected on every other device I tested (linunx and Windows) but only with Openelec 4.0 I have these problems.

Imho it must be a problem of OE 4.0 Sad

I am having the same problem with my 2-bay external HDD.
I'm currently running v4.0.7.

Is there a way to fix it other than going back to legacy versions?
