You have to download from OpenELEC the 4.0, then unzip it. Inside you have to look for the TARGET folder. If I rememeber, it is in system/...

I downloaded the wrong file. Afterwards I immediately found the files needed and updated the Pi no problems. Seems a little faster and no issues yet! sweet!
