How make Auto Update update? No go 4.0.5 to 4.0.6

I am running OpenElec 4.0.5 on RaspberryPi (no over clocking). While on v4.0.5, I changed to Auto Update using the OpenElec app. However, I now never get prompted to perform the upgrade. This used to work fine with Manual update, but now even when I switch back to Manual update, and "Check for update", I am not prompted to perform the upgrade. Did this break in 4.0.5/4.0.6?

In case it matters, I am running the MythTV PVR Add-on (which takes a long time to initialized during startup).

For my part, I just rebooted the Pi (from XMBC button) to have the system updated from 4.0.5 to 4.0.6.

I'm in the same boat, can't make 4.0.4 update to 4.0.6 on my nuc dn2820 on auto update . Don't know what to do now

FWIW, I did try rebooting (both via menu, and hard power reboot), but the update to 4.0.6 never installed.

I had the same problem. It turned out a stalled/failed update was preventing the update process from working.

Here's how to check/fix:

1. Browse/access your 'Update' folder via share
   
2. Delete everything inside this folder. You'll probably find all the files are 0 bytes in size anyway.
   
3. Reboot OpenELEC and the update prompt should appear again

That fixed my non-update ffrom 4.0.6 to 4.0.7.
