Really dark movies

starting from this i angrily contacted lg about not finding an hdmi full range option.
They told to go in to the advance menu, play with color levels and save it as a custom profile .
so at least i was able to circumvent the problem with dark movies by applying this trick.

"Black Level" is the option you want to be looking for. The menu won't say anything about an hdmi full range option.
This is the expert control menu layout for your tv:

--Expert control menu--
Noise Reduction: Off
Gamma: 2.2
Black level: Low <----CHANGE TO HIGH
Film Mode: On
Real Cinema: On
Color Gamut: Standard
Edge Enhancer: Off
xvYCC: Auto [grayed out]
Expert Pattern: Off [grayed out]

Option for the Black Level is: Low=limited colour range, high=full colour range

Change the Black Level to high for full colour range.
