Hi,
I have an AMD fusion system connected to an Onkyo receiver via SPDIF. I have been using OE 3.2 for quite some time and all audio sources worked fine; when the source was DTS or Dolby, the receiver would indicate this, and anything else it would say 'PCM'.
I recently installed OE 4.0 on the system. At first, no sound was working at all. After enabling passthrough for DTS and Dolby, those source types now work, but everything else doesn't (e.g. AAC, vorbis, etc.) I've played around with different settings in the Audio output panel, but to no avail.
Since the hardware setup hasn't changed at all, it seems like a safe assumption that the problem is somewhere in the OE software layer. Something has changed between 3.2 and 4.0.
Has anyone else seen this problem and/or have any suggestion on how to resolve it?
Thanks in advance for any help!
