When using AirPlay, TV wakes up

Hi,

Since a couple of weeks I have decided to replace my jailbroken Apple TV2 with a RaspBerry Pi.

I have installed OpenElec on my Raspberry and started using the AirPlay feature, however; if I stream music my TV 'wakes up'. I don't want this. Does anyone have a resolution for this?

Both my RaspBerry Pi and TV are connected to the same receiver. I never had this issue with my Apple TV2, so I assume it might be due to the RaspBerry Pi.

Different products have different user experiences. You need to make a feature request via Kodi forums for a "Don't wake the screen for Music if asleep" AirPlay option.

Or maybe try disabling cec in xbmc on the pi (if you don't use cec)

While reading your reply, I noticed that i didn't used CEC at all (and how obvious your answer is in that case ;-)....)
