Dear members of OpenELEC community,
We would like to introduce our first device called WeTek Play. Recently our company become sponsor of OpenELEC Project, while earlier this year we also become sponsor of XBMC / Kodi Project.
WeTek Play is device based on AMLogic AML8726-MX Dual core SoC with 1 GB DDR III of RAM Memory and 4 GB NAND Flash. Also it comes Broadcom AP6210 Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0 chip.
Device is shipped with WeTek Play RCU which is dual IR and RF RCU, where IR is used for true ON and OFF modes in Android and OpenELEC, while RF is used for all other operations such as Air Mouse (6-Axis) and so on.
WeTek Play is one of the first devices which is officially Google GMS / CTS certified, and comes preloaded with Google apps such as Google Play and so on.
More interesting part is that WeTek Play can run OpenELEC directly from Micro SD card, so users can enjoy both Android and OpenELEC experience without single trouble.
Under OpenELEC, currently are supported our WeTek Plug & Play tuner for Satellite reception, which is Twin DVB-S2 Tuner (AVL2011 Tuner and AVL6211 demodulator). Our dev's are working on new DVB drivers under Linux Kernel 3.10.61 which will be fully DVB-API v5 compatible.
We hope that we will release OpenELEC 5.0 Final build until end of this week with support for rest of tuners such as Hybrid Tuner which support reception of DVB-C, DVB-T and DVB-T2 in one tuner.
To make as much as possible easier for users to install OpenELEC and use it with WeTek Play, we created WeTek OpenELEC Installer application which is attached to this thread.

While OpenELEC is doing preparations for official WeTek Play support, WeTek will keep maintaining OpenELEC builds and publishing them in this thread, on our Forum and http://www.wetek.com web site.
WeTek Play so far under OpenELEC is tested with tvheadend and VDR for Live TV.
