Easy way to modify channel-list?

Hi to all,

i´m using OE5.0RC on a RPi to watch live tv via dvb-s (tvheadend), but there are a lot unwanted channels (radio, dvb-s2, scrambled) in the channel list. removing those channels via OEs build in channel management is very exhausting. ist there an easier way to get rid of those (by editing a file for example)?

Hello,

could you be a bit more specific? I´m not into Linux / XMBC very much, so i need quite precise instructions . As far as i understand tvheadend uses a database to save ALL channels scanned and the LiveTV-Plugin uses its own to store only the "wanted" channels. Is that right?

Delete the channels you dont want in tvh web gui under channels ( not services) on the same place you can give your channels different tags , like sport, hdtv, kids etc

Thank you, teh difference beetween "channels" and "services" did the trick........alltough i could have gessed it by myself :whistle: .......

This brings me directly to my next problem: ist the timeshift-client able to do timeshift? Where do i make ts-settings?
