Hi,
I managed to run a Netgear wifi dongle as an AP in a Raspberry Pi. It works perfectly and I can see the OpenELEC-AP and connect to it. Now, I wish to stop and restart the AP via ssh by using terminal commands. Is it possible?

have a look at "connmanctl" .. it can be done from there

Thank you for your quick reply, I didn't know connmanctl and it has a lot of possibilities. For what I was looking for, just type connmactl wifi enable (or disable). I can also include it in a crontab file to schedule the on/off times!
