Hi guys,
I've bought a Pi2 couple a weeks ago, installed a few OSes, tested around to come to the conclusion that Openelec works best for my needs.
Atm i use Berryboot to boot into Openelec. In Kodi i installed about everything i needed ( spotify, sabnzbd, couchpotato etc).
And after a couple a days of strolling the internet everything works like a charm. Everyting accept some movie playback.
I just get a black screen. When i hit fastforward i see the movie in fast forward, as soon as i hit play again i get a blackscreen.
I bought the 2 codecs from the Raspberry pi pages, entered the code into the config.txt located on the root of my SD.
Using putty Terminal: vcgencmd codec_enabled MPG2 and vcgencmd codec_enabled WVC1 both give me an enabled.
Then i thought the movies that didnt play where all AC3 coded, but also some without AC3 refuse to play.
My Pi2 is directly connect to my LG TV with a Hdmi cable. The TV is 3 weeks old, and according to the manual it supports AC3.
I could try a couple of more days googling, but maybe there is someone here that had or has similar problems.
Any help would be appreciated
Regards,
Jerome
