Wlan as Access Point

I am running Openelec 5.0.8 on a Intel NUC5i3 with a M2.SSD. This Device is connected to Lan. I use an advancedsettings.xml to use a MYSQL Database and to substitute the path of for example the sources to a common directory on my synology-NAS. Everything is running well.

When I activate now the WLAN as an access point and restart the system, then there is no movie or any other content, but i can use my notebook to access the internet via the NUC5I3-WLAN.

The WLAN uses different Network-Addresses then my Home-Network

192.168.0.something for the Access Point
192.168.178.something for the rest of my Home Network.

Does anyone have an idea, how to

a) have access to my content on synology-.Nas
b) use WLAN Access-Point
c) have a unique addressing in my Home Network

all at the same time?

I'd guess that wlan0 is active early in the boot process and Kodi attempts to use this interface to find the SQL server; which fails as it's on a different subnet, and hence you have no content. The easiest solution is to buy a wireless router.

@chewitt: I agree, that the problem might be the different subnets, but i haven't found a way to change that. Even when I
-deactivate the lan,
-aktivate the wlan without access point
-change the settings
-activate the lan
-choose the tethered option
my settings go lost.

I do not agree to ignore the problem and invest in other hardware.

@Noris, I do not quite understand what you try to achieve. Why do you need the Tethering Option when your NUC has a LAN connection?
