Increase Bread Crum Depth?

Is their a way to increase the bread crums depth so you can see the path you have taken, easy navigation ?

When navigating the media files to select the next movie it does not show the complete path above the list of files where your browsing so its easy to get lost. In Windows explorer for example at the top their is a directory path shows you where you are.

Isn't it simpler to scrape your movies into the Video Library? Then you can simply select the movie from 1 listing, no matter what filepath it is in.

All the scraper crapola is turned off we tried the scraper thing it was like a virus hogged all the bandwidth slowed the Raspberry Pi down to a crawl you switched to watch the processor % and the CPU was pegged at 100% all the time could not get the sim card out and reload Openelec on it fast enough I just want to see the files load them watch the movies do not want to see no bling or dog and pony show just the media file names.

We also do not understand the Library concept when we first started with the Raspberry Pi / Openelec thing every time we read about the Library it made no sense to us if it was written for dummies then we might have had a interest trying to figure it out I loaded all the media in the media drive so I pretty much have a mental picture where everything is its everybody else looking at a mostly black screen for the first time who is having problems navigating being able to see the path your on would cure this.

We are really looking to increase the bread crumbs I have about 35" across the top of my TV screen doing nothing and if it wrapped down to a second line because the path to the files was long so be it.

Kodi is designed on a Library concept and this solves the problem. The files view exists to allow you to poke about once in a while but it is not intended to be the sole view and thus it does not allow you to configure crumb depth. I suggest you make an effort to conquer your exaggerated fear of libraries.

I am sorry I guess I didn't make myself clear enough before I am looking to increase the bread crumb depth ONLY
We decided we want nothing to do with anything that SLOWS the Raspberry Pi down and were currently working on a second network that the Raspberry Pi's can run off of that is NOT CONNECTED to the internet from what we understand this and turning off the scrapers cripples the library system.

We came from WD TV - Media Player that was never connected to the internet or ran a scraper so were not going to miss anything.

Now that we have shared way too much information that has nothing to do with the original question the the question still is does anybody know how to increase bread crumb depth to aid in navigation?

You have TWO options:

a) Learn to code. Make changes to Kodi code to add new configurable breadcrumb depth feature. Be silent.
b) Learn how to use a Library. It's not rocket science. Be Silent.

We don't care which you choose. Your call.
