Hello all,
I just switched from a home baked HTPC using a ASROCK H67M-ITX/HT mobo with optical out for audio and HDMI for Video to my AV Receiver to a Gigabyte GB-BXi5H-5200 Brix unit connected to my AV Receiver via HDMI because it has no optical out. Since the switch when ever I play 2.0 audio it will pass to my AV Receiver and pass to my TV so I get to audio streams playing at the same time (echo effect). In the audio output options I have the HDMI #0,ONKYO set as the source and also as the passthrough source.
Is there a way to just pass through all the audio to the receiver so none of it goes to my tv. The Brix is connected directly to the AV Receiver via HDMI and then of course the TV is connected to the AV Receiver via HDMI. I am not quit understanding why audio is being played through my TV if
Any help will be appreciated.
TIA
