New Labels for external USB HDDs - Database broke

Hi,

I've got a question:
I want to rearrange the labelling structure if my external USB HDDs to HDD1,2,etc, because now it is quite random. I tried to do it, but the database is then broken, because it is related to the labels.. Is there a possibility to fix this or is it easier to relabel the drives and then set up a new database?

The video library works with full paths to the video files. Meaning, any change in that path will cause Kodi to not find the videos any more.

So you can either delete the video database file and fully rescan your sources, or directly alter the contents of the database itself using a database SQLite tool. The latter option is of course only for those with sufficient SQL skills.
