I have been a kodi user for awhile running on ubuntu installed on a audioserver.
I have now moved to the latest rasberry pi 2 and very surprised how good the performance is, running openelec.
How come openelec software volume in the latest version is so much lower than a previous legacy version which I just downgraded to?
with the latest Kodi installed on ubuntu volume only needs to be set fairly low to produce a decent output.
Latest version volume needs to be almost at 75% to get a lowish output and at maximum volume my system is certainly not playing at its loudest?
With ubuntu I am able to adjust the alsa volume mixer for the DAC but How do I do this in openelec? is it using alsa volume?
