When I install OpenELEC on Intel NUC Skylake (i7), it always display "failed to start xorg. is your GPU supported?, 【OK】Started Xorg server...", then "failed to start xorg. is your GPU supported?" again and again.
The screen showed up:
https://app.box.com/s/x07ixpgtod6qdrkfdognyfhqpto90m5z
https://app.box.com/s/vfq87ygryxtnhmyhizhqs8u3gpbvbo9b
I tried something as below:
1. install to USB 3.0, and boot on Skylake machine >>> error message "failed to start xorg. is your GPU supported?"
2. followed item 1, but boot on other two machine(not Skylake) >>> boot succeed , it work
3. followed item 1, then with updated file(*.tar..) >>> error message "failed to start xorg. is your GPU supported?"
4. followed item 3, but boot on other two machine(not Skylake) >>> boot succeed , it work
5. install on HDD on Skylake machine >>> error message "failed to start xorg. is your GPU supported?"
6. install Kodi application (*.exe) on Skylake machine with windows 10 >>> could run Kodi
Version: "OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-6.0.0.img" & "OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-6.0.98-fritsch.img"
Both of versions was same result.
Why cause failed if install OpenELEC on Skylake? The hardware should be support.
Anyone know the key problem? Thanks for your help.
