My current setup:
Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR608
NAS: Synology 413j (NFS file server)
Mediaplayer: TizzBird F20 (Android, unstable)
I am not happy with my current mediaplayer since it is unstable.
A friend of mine recommended me to test OpenELEC so I installed Nvidia Legacy 6.0.0 on an Asus EeeBox EB 1012P (Nvidia ION) but I cannot get audio pass-through to work.
General audio setting is HDMI 5.1 and the audio for the Blu-Ray movie I play is pass-through but my receiver only get PCM (which lacks the depth of DTS HD-MA).
My friend tried the same movie on his setup (NUC DC3217IYE, Intel HD 4000, Intel Core i3) and audio pass-through works for him.
So...is this a problem with the Nvidia legacy build or is it a hardware issue with the EeeBox?
