You can't

Kodi is built into OpenELEC and you have to wait till OpenELEC 7.0 is out in order to get Kodi 16.0 Jarvis.

thanks for reply but i am not sure that it is a pure openelec that is on it as is says openelec unoficial and the box is not one of the openelec ones if this makes sence thanks Tom

It's probably one of the many Android based XBMC boxes sold as 'total viewing solution' with a solid firmware. In that case, the problem is all yours.
