I have been using OpenElec for several years. Recently I tested Volumio on my RaspberryPi3 system and the sound quality is amazing.
Can't listen to my Flacs anymore on OpenElec.
But I really love OpenElec and Kodi so I want to make it work.
I started investigating and maybe OpenElec is doing software mixing of the sound through Alsa. This was the result of the command aplay:
In Volumio I see the devices HW and PLUGWG
Does anyone can shed some lights onto this?
