how to restore Apple TV without a backup

Hi yesterday I installed openelec on my old apple TV 1st gen but I am not happy with the outcome, I did not make a backup of the ATV because having used openelec on my wetek I am quite happy with the software but the apple tv remote does not allow me to do a lot... How can I please restore my ATV1 back to its original state now? I dont have any cable to connect to my mac so I cant do through iTunes. Is there a reset button? I tried holdling the menu and down key together but it just rebooted openelec... Please HELP thanks

Hello guys! I didn't face such problems with Apple TV at all. You know, I have recently bought a new TV - LG 50uh5530 and Of course. I don't have any problems with it at all because this is new. Did anybody buy it? I want to know if it works so well for a long time or it is only at the beginning.
