Downloaded the Openelec V.8.0 Diskimage for RPi3.
http://releases.openelec.tv/OpenELEC-RPi...0.0.img.gz
Mounted the image on the Micro SD Card (8Gb) using Win32 DiskImager.
Placed the MicroSD in my RPi3 and booted it.
Openelec boots fine and I'm able to setup the initial configuration.
After a while updates start to fail. Add-ons fail to be installed as well. From the system information I noticed that storage is set to 27M (when the Micro SD has a total capacity of 8GB) with 1.3M only left. From the log files I can see errors like 'fail to copy file', db is full etc..
To verify that the process used to load the image onto the card is correct I used the same process using the 7.0.1 image file and works perfectly. System information shows the correct amount of storage , i.e. 8Gb. So I'm assuming that something wrong happened with v8.0. (This is a clean installation).
From separate blogs I've read that there is a script which is run on first boot (/storage/.please_resize_me). I've connected through SSH and ran the command manually but didn't work out.
Any ideas or maybe someone can confirm whether this is an issue with v.8.0.0
Thanks in advance
